Terms and conditionsNew to Christchurch Recreation and Sport
To be eligible for the one week free Gym & Pool trial customers need to:
- Have not been a member of Christchurch City Council Recreation and Sport Centres or received a free trial during 2023.
- Sign up for their free trial between 11 October 2023 and 12 November 2023. The trial must commence between 11 October 2023 and 12 November 2023.
- Be at least 16 years old.
To be eligible for the prize draw, customers need to:
- Sign up for a Gym, Gym & Pool or Pool membership between 11 October and 19 November 2023. Memberships must commence between these dates.
- After customers have completed their one week trial (between 11 October and 19 November 2023) and they have signed up for either a Gym, Gym& Pool or Pool membership (between 11 October and 19 November 2023), they’ll will go into the draw to win:
- 1x spring wellness package (5x packages available, 1x per centre).
Free one week cannot be transferred, exchanged or refunded for cash.

To get started, please register for a new account.
Once you have logged in, follow these steps:
- Choose your preferred centre.
- Click 'Create a Guest account or redeem code' and click 'Next'.
- Click 'I have a free trial code'.
- Enter the code SPRINGTRIAL and click 'Next'.
- Click the 'One week free trial' membership option and click 'Next'.
- Choose what day you would like to start your contract and click 'Next'.
- Complete your personal details and click 'Next'.
- Proceed through to a summary of your contract details and confirm the booking.
- You can then click 'Go to your client portal' to view your account.

To get started, please login to your account.
Once you have logged in, follow these steps:
- Click 'Account' in the top navigation pane.
- Click 'Contract details'.
- Add a contract to your account.
- Click 'One week free trial'.
- Click ' I have a free trial code'
- Enter the code SPRINGTRIAL and click 'Next'.
- Click the 'One week free trial' membership option and click 'Next'.
- Choose what day you would like to start your contract and click 'Next'.
- Complete your personal details and click 'Next'.
- Proceed through to a summary of your contract details and confirm the booking.
- You can then click 'Go to your client portal' to view your account.
