Templeton Summer Pool provides an inviting atmosphere for whānau, friends, and individuals seeking respite from the summer heat.

The pool includes:
- Four-lane, 25-metre pool, with a depth of 0.8m to 1.3m
- Toddlers pool with shade sail
- Picnic tables

Templeton Summer Pool is not wheelchair accessible.

Membership
Get summer-long key access to the pool for you and your whānau with a summer pool membership.
Simply sign up for your membership online and attend a member induction session to collect your key.

Member induction sessions
Membership induction sessions are held most days on site. Members will complete a health and safety induction and collect their access key.
Sessions:
- 13 November to 24 November 2023 - 7pm daily except 17 November (Canterbury Anniversary Day)
- 13 November 2023 to 4 February 2024 - 10am daily except 17 November (Canterbury Anniversary Day) and 25 December (Christmas Day)

Keep our pools safe
We want everyone to be able to enjoy the pools and have a safe and enjoyable experience.
It’s important that caregivers take extra care when accompanying a child to the pool.

Supervision of children in the pool
- Children under the age of 16 years old must be supervised by a responsible caregiver over the age of 18 who is also a key holder.
- Children under five years old must be within arm’s reach and under constant supervision by a responsible caregiver aged 16 years or older in the pool at all times.
- Children between the ages of five and seven (inclusive) must be actively supervised by a responsible caregiver aged 16 years or older, who is to be within the pool area at all times and able to provide immediate assistance.
